Henry lately

I realize I'm pretty behind on some Henry updates, we had his 15 month checkup last week. He definitely had quite a growth spurt since his 12 month appointment! He went from 19lbs to 23 and 11oz (5% to 50% in weight!) and from 29 1/4 to 31 1/2 inches (also up to 50%) and his head is still in the 90% at 19 1/4. Here he is during his appt.

He started taking steps a couple of weeks ago but still isn't walking on his own without a hand or piece of furniture. He loves standing up on his own and clapping for himself so he's making progress:)
The doctor noticed his molars were really swollen and are probably coming soon which explains why he's been a little extra clingy and fussy lately. He's also getting so physical, into climbing everything, flopping all over the place, bonking his head on all sorts of things and hitting me in the face a couple of times (ugh). Good thing he is so cute!

12 month portraits

It's so hard to get Henry to sit still these days but I was able to catch a few photos this morning. I can't believe how much he has changed in the last few months. Between 9.5 months and now he has started crawling, got 2 teeth (with the top 4 about to pop through!), is pulling himself up on everything and cruises a little, babbles constantly, stopped nursing and using bottles and just uses a sippy cup and eats all sorts of new foods. It's hard for us to keep up! At his appt last week, he tipped the scales at 19 lbs (haha) and is 29 1/4 inches so still long and lean but definitely filling out. We have a few friends with babies who are almost exactly a year older than Henry and it's so fun to see what we have to look forward to!

11 months!

Henry did not want to sit in the chair and have his photo taken this month, those days are over! These are the best I could get in the 30 seconds that he sat still:)

This video is from a month ago, when he first started crawling. He looks like a newborn deer! He is crawling much faster now, I can hardly keep up:)

Catching up

Wow, the past month has been busy around here! Mostly because Henry has changed so much in such a short amount of time. He started crawling about a month ago, his two bottom teeth are coming in, he's waving and doing all sorts of generally cute things:) We are just trying to keep up with him!
